Lively says Hutcherson is a "Special Envoy" too
In a March 11th e-mail purportedly from Dr Scott Lively and posted in an English language forum on the New Generations Church web site, he also makes the claim that Reverend Ken Hutcherson was a "Special Envoy":
I am part of a small delegation which has traveled to Riga, Latvia to investigate recent incidents of discrimination against Christians by pro-homosexual activists in government and the media. With me is Dr. Ken Hutcherson of Antioch Bible Church of Seattle, who has been granted the status of Special Envoy of the Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives of the White House.
It's pretty clear that everyone on the trip and and everyone they met with from the Prime Minister of Latvia on down all heard the same story. We now know that the White House granted no such status.
Where are the investigations? Where are the charges? What really happened?
Hat tip to the sharp eyes of Alex at UKGAYNEWS who has been following LGBT Civil Rights in the EU and Latvia very closely.
Update: Since representatives of the New Generation Church and anyone who met with Lively and Hutcherson are now denying that they were told Hutcherson was representing the White House as a Special Envoy, it seems prudent to add a screen shot just in case the post is "disappeared" when the New Generations Church folks discover it.
